What is right mindfulness?
Cultivating peace and clarity through pure intention and awareness
Mindfulness is a way of living that cultivates awareness and wisdom. By practicing “awareness of breathing” in daily life, we bring the body and mind together in the present moment. This fosters inner peace, stability, and clarity, allowing us to observe the true nature of what is happening both within and around us, and to respond with wisdom.
The foundation of “right” mindfulness must be rooted in pure intention. It is not driven by personal gain or craving for anything, but arises from a sincere aspiration of the heart: to cultivate wisdom and compassion, to ease suffering in body and mind, and to live with greater clarity, peace, and love for ourselves and others.
