Eight Mindful Heart Mindful Living
(MHML) Exercises
Let breath and movement flow as one
Mindfulness shouldn’t be confined to moments of stillness. The true power of the practice lies in learning how to stay grounded and aware in motion, whether we are exercising, doing chores, or working. Mindfulness is a way of living that can be practiced in any moment, simply by bringing awareness into whatever we are doing. By cultivating awareness in motion, we develop the capacity to stay centered and clear, even amidst the busyness of daily life.
The Eight Mindful Heart Mindful Living (MHML) Exercises are created to help practitioners stay connected with their breath and body during everyday activities like wiping a window or sweeping the floor. Like tracing a flowing line through space, every movement draws us gently back to the here and now, allowing us to fully experience the entire arc of breathing from beginning to end. As the body sways gently with the rhythm of the breath, it becomes a quiet dance. These eight movements are designed to deepen your mindfulness practice, helping you fully embody the awareness of breathing in every aspect of your life with ease and joy.
